Triangle in Hawaii Kai is named as it is because it is, loosely, a trianglular shaped area. It sits in between Portlock and Koko Kai and is easily within walking reach of the Koko Marina Shopping Center.
Few of the 319 homes in the area have ocean views, although a short drive away to Polihae Place one will see many spectacular sights including that of Mariners Ridge, even more spectacular at night, and of course the famed Diamond Head. It is also said to present the best views of Koko Head of any area in the whole of Hawaii Kai.
The homes are quite small by modern living standards, however they make up for this with the large land they are situated upon, with lots sized upwards of 10,000 square feet.
2007 saw fifteen sales, ranging in price from $865,000 up to $2.18 million for a remodelled home, whereas in 2008 sold six homes were sold, all ranging between $890,000 to $2.65 million, the most expensive being newly constructed and one of the few homes in the area to boast magnificent views.
