Salt Lake real estate information
The area of Salt Lake is made up of condos and homes that were built during the sixties during which more and more people were moving to the area. Those that are near the area are going to find that the area is also known as Aliamanu, which is because of the proximity of the city to the crater that has the same name. However, the name Salt Lake was given to the area because of the 'salt pond' where the crater resides. One of the biggest aspects about the area is that this is a green area and, despite the fact that there is a lot of suburbia in the area, there are still many hiking trails and so forth in the area.
There are also parks in the area that have basketball and tennis courts, gyms, and a swimming pool, which is called the Salt Lake Municipal Park. Which is also the home to the People's Market on Saturday mornings where people can buy produce from local farmers. In the Salt Lake Shopping Center people are going to find that there are several larger chain stores in the area, and some local eateries that the person can choose to be a part of. For those that have families in the area, then they are going to love the fact that the Moanalua High School in located in the area, and is the public school to go to when living in Oahu. It has been often looked at as the premier public school to go to for those that are located in Oahu. The Aliamany ids go to in the area.
