Waikiki Banyan Condos

Waikiki Banyan is a resort in Waikiki.  Guests can enjoy the combination of a hotel-condominium suite.  The building was built in 1979 and currently has 876 rooms.  The resort is located near Waikiki Beach and is close to Kapiolani Park. 

Every suite at the resort has its own separate bedroom, furnished living room, and a fully equipped kitchen. All rooms are non-smoking. Guests will also have their own private lanai.  This will allow them to look out over the ocean and mountains. Not to mention the suites have an excellent view of Honolulu.  Guests will also enjoy the family-friendly atmosphere. Staff is available to make sure that everyone visiting has everything they need. 

Everyone who stays at Waikiki Banyan can enjoy the spacious recreation deck, which is the largest in Waikiki.  Here they will find a large heated swimming pool, tennis court, putting green, children’s playground, two jet spas, basketball court, and a snack bar. Guests will also be capable of using the grills in the picnic area to have their own BBQs.

The snack bar is called Banyan Breeze. Guests should be able to locate it in the lobby. Here they can get espressos, teas, smoothies, and snacks such as wraps, pastries, sandwiches, and salads.

There are a number of services that guests will be able to use on their stay. Two of the newest services are DVD movies and PlayStation 2 games.  These have a fee of under $10 a day.  Other services include:  in-room internet access, daily in-room coffee and tea, daily newspaper, in-room safe, and local and toll-free calls.  They will also be able to receive free on-site parking. If they would like to, guests can use the grocery delivery service.

As well as being so close to the beach, the resort is near the Honolulu Zoo and Waikiki Aquarium. Downtown Honolulu is only a few minutes away. Guests are right on the local bus line so transportation will always be available to take them across the city.

This is an extremely popular resort in Waikiki. Tourists tend to flock to the spacious hotel condominium units.  It is important to check ahead of time for anyone that would like to stay at this particular resort. This building is private property so only residents and guests are allowed on the property and to use the numerous amenities and facilities.  The majority of the condos are managed by the hotel, but the rest are managed by owners.  Guests might want to check on those details to make sure the room they rent is up to par with their wishes.
