Oahu is well known for its lavish beach resorts. If you are planning to go to Oahu, you must take a flight at your own country. Most of the airplanes will land on Honolulu International Airport. The Honolulu International Airport provides all kinds of amenities for the tourist including shops and restaurants. If you need a car to travel around, you can rent a car from the car rental center in Oahu. 

The Honolulu airport offers free transportation to several places in Oahu. Shuttle transportation from the airport to Waikiki is available to tourists. It also offers shuttle services to many hotels in Waikiki. You can check with the hotel you book to see if they are offering this type of shuttle service. The cost of the fight transportation to Honolulu can be expensive. Normally, the hotels will be fully booked in between December and March. Even in April, the hotels will be fully booked. This period is the busiest time to fly to Oahu because of the large demands. The final two weeks of December is the most expensive time to fly to Oahu because it is Christmas season. The winter season is the best time to go surfing. Hence, flights to Oahu will be quickly sold out during this season.

The flight to Oahu is less costly during the summer season. If you want to reduce the cost of the Oahu flight, you can sign up for the vacation package. The vacation package includes trips to several Oahu tourist destinations and the flight ticket. You can reduce the cost of the flight ticket by half if you sign up for the vacation package. However, you are not required to sign up for a vacation package to make the flight cheaper because the Oahu flight ticket is already cheap in the summer. If you want to get the cheapest Oahu flight ticket, you should fly during spring season. During spring, there are lesser tourists coming to Oahu so the flight ticket cost should be cheap. You can fly in all the months of spring except April. In April, there will be many Japanese tourists coming to Hawaii. Many Japanese tourists will be coming to Oahu because of the Golden Week festival. The temperature in Oahu is about 68 – 86 degree Fahrenheit throughout the year. In between the months of November and March, there will be some rain. The hurricane season will take place in June.
