In 2006 homes in the area had the median value of over one million dollars, while in 2007 a home off water sold for around $1.09 million and an on water, marine front home held a steady price tag of $1.395 million, if it’sin original condition.

2008 saw four Anchorage homes go under the hammer with their final sale prices reaching $889,000, $939,000, $975,000 and the most expensive hitting a high of $1,009,400. The first two homes were around 2,000 square feet on 8,000 square feet lots, while both homes with higher price tags were marina front, 1,870 square foot on homes settled on lots of 8,240 square feet.
