Hahaione Valley is home to spectacular mountains, covered in greenery. It is the first valley one comes across when travelling to Hawaii Kai via downtown Honolulu.

Seperated into Lower Hahaione, made up of roughly 320 houses all built in the early 1970s, and Upper Hahaione – which hosts over 350 homes, many of which were custom built throughout the 70s and 80s.
Because it is situated on higher ground, Upper Hahaione provides fabulous Koko Head and ocean views from all houses positioned on the eastern side, while those in the west experience amazing views over looking the mountains.

A bus service provides a route going one way around the entire valley and takes residents to the Park & Ride, which makes it the ideal place to live. Not to mention the Hahaione Elementary School, positioned at the bottom of the valley, which is recognized as a terrific school. The top of the valley houses several high rising condos, along with 3 town house complexes, all conveniently close to everything else in the community. Shopping is also easy accessible to everyone, whether you live at the top or the end of the valley.

House sales in Hahaione Valley in 2007 ranged from $550,000 to $1,450,000, and 2008 saw 16 sales finalized – seven in Upper Hahaione and 9 in lower Hahaione. The lowest price tag was very impressive at only $480,000.
