Kailua Farmers Market is the place where local farmers sell their produces. The produces sold at the market are organic. They are fresh and free of chemical pesticides. Various types fruits and vegetables can be found at the farmers market. You can also buy bread from the farmers market. If you want to find out what each vendor sells, you should check the weekly tip sheet. It is recommended that you bring a bag so that you can carry your purchases conveniently. The farmers market is always crowded with people. It can be troublesome to carry your purchases in many plastic bags.

 

Besides fruits and vegetables, you can also buy cooked food at the market. There are various types cuisines for sale at the market. However, there is no Chinese food store. You can also buy bread from the farmers market. You can buy plate lunches at the market if you are hungry. The average cost of the plate lunch is about eight dollar. There are several automatic teller machines (ATMs) in the sidewalk.

 

Because the market is crowded all the time, you should keep watch of your kids. If you have a baby, you can carry him in a sling that ties around your body. If you want to buy the best produces in Hawaii, you need to arrive in the market at an early hour. The opening time of the market is 5 p.m. There are a number of farmers that allow you to shop before 5 p.m. The market will close at about 7:30 p.m. The farmer market is held at the Long’s car park every Thursday.  The Kailua Farmers Market consists of 5 rows. In each rows, there are a few vendors that sell all kinds of organic produces. It is significantly smaller compare to the KCC Saturday Market. The vendors are friendly. They are willing to offer help to people who need assistance.

 

Nearby the Kailua Farmers Market, there is a park called Kailua District Park. Kailua District Park has a large picnic area. Before coming to the market, be sure to bring enough funds so that you can shop all the items you want. The Kailua Farmers Market is one of the places you wouldn’t want to miss when having vacation. You will find many exotic produces and rare food that have never been sold in other markets. Visiting the Kailua Farmers Market will give you a rewarding experience.
