Kakaako Real Estate Information

Right now the area of Kakaako is one of the areas in Hawaii that is consisting of condos that are spread throughout industrial areas and sites that are under construction. However, this area should not be ruled out just yet since the Hawaii Community Development Authority has a huge plan for the area that involves creating a community that is over 600 acres in size and one that is meant to harbor a family environment.The hope for the area is that it will become a community that is going to be environmentally friendly, and be friendly towards those that are wanting a neighborhood in which they can walk around in and be safe. This is being made possible throughout private and government assistance.

Right now, those that live in Kakaako are still going to find that they are going to have things such as Kewalo Basin Park, which is one area that is frequented by surfers, fishermen, divers, swimmers and joggers. The area also allows access to Kakaako Waterfront Park is the ocean front area that is great for a family picnic on nice days. There is also the Hawaii Children's Discover Center that is meant to help kids learn more about the area around them.
