Maikiki is a very popular community and the person is going to find that the city is the center of Honolulu. The religious suspects of Makiki is one of the more appealing things that many people move to the area to be a part of since there are many churches that are in the area that are all of different denominations. And these churches are actively involved in many things throughout the community, including senior programs, and other community oriented activities that the person is going to enjoy. There is also the Makiki Shopping Village that has restaurants, video rentals, a wine shop, and a grocery store for residents to enjoy. The children of Makiki will be attending the Roosevelt complex center and there are those that are going to be able to attend the private Punahou School.
