The area of Salt Lake is made up of condos and homes that were built during the sixties during which more and more people were moving to the area. Those that are near the area are going to find that the area is also known as Aliamanu, which is because of the proximity of the city to the crater that has the same name. For those that have families in the area, then they are going to love the fact that the Moanalua High School in located in the area, and is the public school to go to when living in Oahu.
